NRTC Ballymore – New Training Facility for the QLD Reds and Wallaroo’s

Type of Project: Toilet Partitions, Lockers, Whiteboards

Description

The Queensland Reds’ new training facility at Ballymore showcases functional design and aesthetic excellence. ABP leads in interior installations, meticulously handling toilet partitions, whiteboards, and lockers. Their work includes robust toilet partitions with the Lawson Floor mounted overhead braced system in Laminex Battalion 13mm Compact Laminate. Sleek black Metlam Moda Hinges complement Capral’s powder-coated aluminum. Custom-designed lockers by Blight Rayner Architects feature Reds’ lockers in Laminex Kalamata Absolute Matte and Laminex Charcoal, and Wallaroos’ lockers showcase Laminex Seed and Laminex Charcoal. The facility’s pelmet incorporates Polyvision Ceramic Steel in Black Matte, allowing for sponsor logos and player names to be attached magnetically. ABP’s Frameless Magnetico Whiteboards enhance functionality and organization. The project, led by builder Buildcorp, marks a new era in the team’s training facilities, successfully completed in mid-2023.
